Responsibilities
- Strong in Appliance Data warehouse design and implementation of established models.
- Experience in Netezza Database performance monitoring and tuning.
- Expertise in the implementation of security guidelines.
- Automate the regular database management activities.
- Expertise in defining strategy for Database migration, setting up clusters, backup, and restoration.
- Identify, evaluate and recommend hardware or software technologies to achieve desired database performance.
- Design database applications, such as interfaces, data transfer mechanisms, global temporary tables, data partitions, and function-based indexes to enable efficient access of the generic database structure.
- Demonstrate database technical functionality, such as performance, security, and reliability.
